AquaTerra Coaching, LLC™
is a full service multi-sport coaching business which caters to the adventurous adult “Age Groupers” (age 18 & up), elite athletes and para athletes, whether you’re interested in recreational participation or competitive racing.
Whether it be swimming, cycling, running - On-Road or Off - or any combination thereof (triathlon, duathlon, aquathon, swim-run, etc.), we can help you build your strength and stamina to complete whatever distance race in which you choose to compete.
Triathlons can seem overwhelming at first. But we know how to keep it simple and help each individual achieve their goals!
Here’s an overview of the four standard distances:
SPRINT: 750 meter (1/2 mile) Swim; 20K (12.5 mile) Bike; 5K (3.1 mile) Run
OLYMPIC (a.k.a., Standard Distance): 1500M (1 mile) Swim; 40K (25 mile) Bike; 10K (6.2 mile) Run
HALF IRON (a.k.a., Ironman 70.3): 1900M (1.2 mile) Swim; 90K (56 mile) Bike; 21K (13.1 mile) Run
FULL IRON (a.k.a., Ironman 140.6): 3800M (2.4 mile) Swim; 180K (112 mile) Bike; 42K (26.2 mile) Run
NOTE: There are often variations in the distances of a specific race, due to terrain, logistics, and/or safety. The Race Director has the authority to modify the race for safety reasons, so it’s always best to be prepared for the unexpected!
